Local projects that empower local people. These issues took center stage for USAID at the UN General Assembly last week where we announced millions of dollars in new commitments to address them. In the face of complex challenges—from climate change to democratic backsliding to war—the annual meeting again demonstrated USAID’s leadership in engaging an international community that shares our dedication to finding workable solutions to global challenges.
