For patients battling COVID-19, ventilators may prove life-saving. USAID is proud to partner with American companies producing this state-of-the-art equipment in the United States. So far, we have distributed almost 4,000 ventilators to more than 20 countries—with more on the way. This work continues more than half a century of life-saving global health investments by USAID. And it shows that when a global health need arises, America acts.
